THE FACT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT OUR CURRENCY

This is the level of which the Nigerian currency has dilapidated. This Fulani-Cabal govt under President Buhari refused to print 100 naira notes because it doesnt have an Arabic inscriptions on it. This currency was printed last under Jonathan's regime of which he deliberately omitted the Arabic inscription.

Now buhari systematically want to face out the money by refusing to print more of it. The rate of which this money has detoriated is not something to write home about. Some mulsim group even protested that the money should be banned because of the omitted arabic inscription.

Now the question I will love to ask is this? Is Nigeria an Islamic country?

Me: Yes, Nigeria is an Islamic Republic. #Fact

IMO APGA REJECTS ROCHAS OKOROCHA'S OFFER

IMO POLITICS: THE END OF GOVERNOR R OKOROCHA

PRESS RELEASE

ONYEAGUCHA CONDEMNS GOVERNOR OKOROCHA'S MOVE TO JOIN APGA

-APPLAUDS APGA LEADERSHIP FOR REJECTING HIS 3BILLION NAIRA OFFER.

Hon Uche Onyeagucha, a frontline APGA governorship aspirant in the state has condemned in strong terms the clandestine moves by Governor Ethelbert Okorocha to join APGA. Hon Onyeagucha also applauded the leadership of the party for rejecting his 3billion naira offer.

Consequently, we are aware that since last week now, Governor Okorocha who was humiliated in the ward Congresses of his party by the allied forces of APC coalition in the state has been making surreptitious moves through the leadership of the party to defect to APGA to enable him perpetuate his third term agenda. We have stated this severally that Governor Okorocha is in self succeeding  mission to rule the state to perpetuity to enable him to continue to loot the state dry. Now, we have been vindicated.

This battle-for-survival and last minute scheming of Governor Okorocha to join APGA has indeed confirmed the level of his desperation towards making his son-inlaw the next Governor of the state. This is a man who rose to political limelight as governor of the state through the platform of APGA and later dump the party for his egocentric interest. Today, Governor Okorocha is approaching the same party he dumped and had on several occasions described as a social club and NGO that has no capacity to win elections.
Also, it was the same Governor Okorocha who had on several occasions admonished Imolites not to identify with any party that is not at the center. Today, he is turning back negotiating to join the same party he said has no capacity of winning elections. Such a chameleonic lifestyle is highly repulsive.

Yes, we understand his present predicament as a confused politician who is now in a crossroad of his end-time adventurous voyage, but we can only sympathize with him on his journey to early political retirement.

No political party will ever admit Governor Okorocha because his presence will bring a colossal failure to the party. Before contemplating joining APGA, he should first apologize to Imolites for the atrocities he has committed against the people of the state.

Finally, we sincerely advice him to remain in his party APC and continue to search for the missing Result Sheet, Who knows, he may find the Result sheet and bounces back as a political Maradona he claims he is. This is our candid advice.

Signed
MacDonald Enwere
Chief Press Secretary to Hon Uche Onyeagucha

BREAKING! "Buhari Must go!" - Catholic Priests Protest in Black

BREAKING! "Buhari Must go!" - Catholic Priests Protest in Black

Catholic Priests had a peaceful protest earlier today in Akure, Ondo State against the disheartening killings in the middle East and other parts of Nigeria. 'Every Soul Matters', the priests said.

The demonstration is coming days after suspected herdsmen stormed St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Ukpor-Mbalom Parish, Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State, killing two Catholic priests and 17 parishioners.

The deceased were members of the parish who were in the church to attend the 5:30am Mass and burial ceremony.

Meanwhile, the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign.

The CBCN urged President Buhari to choose the part of honour by “stepping aside to save the nation from total collapse.”

The CBCN made the call in a communique signed by its President, Most Rev. Augustine Akubeze, and Secretary, Most Rev. Camillus Umoh on Thursday.

The bishops, in the communique titled, “When will this barbarism end?” condemned the incessant attacks by the suspected herdsmen, whom they said had turned the country into a massive graveyard.

They also noted that the rate of insecurity in Nigeria had become an embarrassment in the international community while describing the killing of the priests in the Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State on Tuesday as being “carefully planned.”

The communique read “That our two priests, Fr. Joseph Gor and Fr. Felix Tyolaha, along with their parishioners were waylaid in the course of the celebration of the Holy Mass early in the morning, suggests very clearly that their murder was carefully planned. This wicked act cannot be said to be a revenge attack (as is often claimed).

“Whom have these priests attacked? Indeed, we have just discovered that on January 3, this year, Fr. Gor tweeted, ‘We are living in fear. The Fulani are still around here in Mbalom (where they (priests) were killed). They refuse to go. They still go grazing around. No weapons to defend ourselves.’

“Their desperate cries for security and help went unheeded by those who should have heard them. They could have fled but, true to their vocation, they remained to continue to serve their God unto death.

“We are sad. We are angry. We feel totally exposed and most vulnerable. Faced with these dark clouds of fear and anxiety, our people are daily being told by some to defend themselves.

“But defend themselves with what? The Federal Government, whose primary responsibility it is to protect lives, for its part alleges that those who ask the people to defend themselves are inciting them to take the laws into their own hands. But how can the Federal Government stand back while its security agencies deliberately turn a blind eye to the cries and waillings of helpless and harmless citizens who remain sitting ducks in their homes, farms, highway and now, even in sacred places of worship?

“In spite of several calls on the President in the last two years to reconfigure his security apparatus and strategy, which the President has deliberately placed in the hands of the adherents of only one religion and the lack of confidence expressed by the CBCN in the security agencies, the bloodletting and destruction of homes and farmlands had increased with intensity and brutality.

“We are sad and fear that the clock is ticking. The bomb must be defused quickly before it explodes.

“Since the President, who appointed the heads of the nation’s security agencies has refused to caution them even in the face of the chaos and barbarity into which our country has been plunged, we are left with no choice but to conclude that they are acting a script that he approves of. If the President cannot keep our country safe, then he automatically loses the trust of the citizens.

“He should no longer continue to preside over the killing fields and mass graveyard that our country has become. Repeated calls from us and many other Nigerians on the President to take very drastic and urgent steps to reverse this ugly tragedy that threatens the foundation of our collective existence and unity as a nation have fallen on deaf ears.

“It is clear to the nation that he has failed in his primary duty of protecting the lives of the Nigerian citizens. Whether this failure is due to inability to perform or lack of political will, it is time for him to choose the part of honour and consider stepping aside to save the nation from total collapse.

“Government should encourage and empower citizens to secure themselves and their environments. This is not the time to disarm people with legally procured weapons of self defence.

“These are not normal times, since those we pay to protect us have failed to do their duty. Nigeria can return to normal times, if we put our heads together with sincerity.” (DP)

Rochas okorocha

Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, has instructed traditional rulers in the state to tax at least 2,000 'leviable adults' in their communities the sum of N3,000 as payment of Autonomous Community Adult Development levy.
A social media user, Chidi Odinkalu, took to his Twitter account (@ChidiOdinkalu) on Thursday, April 19, 2018, to share the letter which is believed to have been addressed to all the traditional rulers in the state.

In the letter dated, April 3, 2018, the governor directed all recognised Autonomous Communities in Imo state to pay the Minimum Adult Development Levy of N6 million.

According to the letter, any traditional ruler who fails to achieve such a return into the government's purse will have their salaries and allowances suspended while their communities will be merged with 'sister communities' that meet their targets.

The letter was signed by Hon Louis O. Duru, the state's Commissioner of Community Government, Culture and Traditional Affairs.

The letter read, "His Excellency, Owelle (Dr.) Rochas Okorocha OON, Executive Governor of Imo State has at several meetings with the Royal fathers reiterated his administration's resolve on the issue of payment of Autonomous Community Adult Development levy of N3,000 per adult.

"To facilitate the payment, the State Government through the Ministry of CGC, since September 2016 had provided Community Adults Register for Autonomous Communities in the State where the Communities will enlist the names of at least 2,000 leviable adults.

"Consequently, His Excellency, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha has directed that all recognised Autonomous Communities in Imo State should pay the Minimum Adult Development Levy of N6,000,000 (six million naira only) without further delay.

"Any recognised Autonomous Community that fails to pay the development levy will be merged with sister Autonomous Community that had paid and the salaries/allowances of the traditional ruler of the erring community will be suspended."

Hon. Duru also noted that the state government has concluded arrangement to embark on sensitisation meetings with traditional rulers at the local government areas to further emphasise Okorocha's directive and monitor compliance.
